Non-Profit Business Model, Focusing, and Growth through Collaborations
With an eye to national and international political conditions (International Relations) and with the assistance of academics and scholars (Re-thinking Society), the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt has consistently sharpened the focus of its non-profit business model to promote social innovation: Through its Young Leaders Forums, it inspires young leaders between the age of 30 and 45 to participate in and shape civil society, social entrepreneurship, and politics (Responsible Leadership) and so initiates new and sustainable forms of cross-sectoral cooperation (Cross-sectoral Engagement). Since the Foundation is increasingly sought out as a partner by private and public actors in all its areas of activities, it will be able to systematically expand its socio-political, academic, and practice-oriented programs in the future. Guided by its mission statement, the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt is committed to its goal of making an original and effective contribution to strengthening social cohesion.
