The BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt aims to break down the anti-innovation "pillarization" of society through cross-sectoral dialogue platforms that help make the participants aware of their habits of thought and action. The Foundation promotes the willingness to better understand the possibilities and limitations of one's interlocutor and thus the ability to participate in new trans-sectoral and international collaborations that are essential for dealing with the increasingly complex tasks of modern societies.
