Progress Factory Series
October 13, 2011, Munich
"Which Progress for Munich?"
Following the Progress Academy, which took place on March 23, 2010, another event was held in cooperation with the Center for Societal Progress. Guided by the World Café format, participants discussed socio-politically relevant and future-oriented issues. The focus was on the links between “Growth, Prosperity and Quality of Life“ in the future, with particular emphasis on the question of how to promote and measure these parameters.
Short kick-off presentations by Dr. Stefan Bergheim (Center for Societal Progress) on “Promoting Progress at the Local Level” and by Eric Pöttschacher (Shapeshifters) on “Meaning and Money” helped support the development of new networks and concrete possibilities for action.
Based on the principle that progress is more likely to happen through dialogue, the participants were called upon to use innovative concepts to jointly develop solutions.
Location:
The event took place on October 13, 2011, at 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the BMW Foundation’s Munich office.
