Entrepreneurship Summit

Because of the extensive program and the big demand, the 2011 Entrepreneurship Summit will be held over two days, October 29 and 30, 2011.

The Entrepreneurship Summit is an annual conference that has been organized by the Entrepreneurship Foundation since 2001. In recent years, a number of prominent guest speakers talked about subjects related to business, social, educational, ecological, and cultural entrepreneurship and shared their know-how with the audience. Speakers included, among others, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Hernando de Soto, Professor Julian Nida-Rümelin, and Professor Götz Werner. At last year’s event, some 1,200 young entrepreneurs, founders-to-be, and entrepreneurship enthusiasts gathered at the Henry Ford Building of the Free University of Berlin to exchange and develop ideas.

The BMW Foundation supports social innovation on a variety of levels and promotes the taking of social responsibility. When it comes to solving social or environmental problems, it focuses above all on entrepreneurial solutions. To promote innovative entrepreneurship, the BMW Foundation cooperates with the Entrepreneurship Foundation.
