Social Business Meets Angel

Social entrepreneurs make an important contribution to social innovation by entrepreneurial means. Realizing a social business idea, however, is accompanied by many challenges, especially during the start-up phase. Business Angels can help solve problems: they can open doors, provide financing and funding support, help improve organizational structure, and widen the network.

Against this background, the BMW Foundation, together with BonVenture, the Social Venture Fund and the Social Entrepreneurship Academy, seeks to aid in bringing together social entrepreneurs and potential Business Angels by organizing an evening event entitled “Social Business Meets Angel.”

At the event, the invited social entrepreneurs will give a short pitch presentation of their organizations and talk about their current challenges. During a more informal get-together following the presentations, the invited Business Angels will be able to find out more about the organizations they are interested in.
