Clear Karma
ClearKarma.org provides cell-phone applications and a website featuring information for people with food allergies. Those affected can immediately access information about the impact their consumer choices have on their health without having to read the fine print on the packaging. Clear Karma also proposes healthy alternatives by presenting organic and fair-trade products.
Coffee Circle
Coffee Circle GmbH is fully devoted to fair coffee consumption. The start-up offers gourmet coffees that are bought directly from selected coffee farmers. For every kilo that’s sold, it donates 1 euro to development projects that directly affect the coffee farmers – which is 5 times the amount given by “Fair Trade.”
