Social Enterprise – Integration through Education

June 16, 2010, Munich

The second event in the discussion series on social policy, which was organized in cooperation with UBS Deutschland AG, also focused on new forms of social and civic engagment. Social entrepreneurs and representatives of corporate foundations who work for social cohesion engaged in a dialogue with each other to present their projects. Their effective social enterprise activities demonstrate how special education and training programs for young people at the margins of society promote and foster integration.

Through this new series, the Foundation wants to provide orientation in the ever-diversifying world of social and civic engagement and provide ideas and inspiration for social action. The series sees itself as an open discussion forum enabling a cross-sectoral exchange of experiences.
