Social Enterprise – Using Networks
November 8, 2011, Munich
For the second time this year, a small workshop provideed representatives of two selected social businesses with an opportunity to meet competent partners from different social sectors and to present for discussion their specific development and organizational challenges. The goal was to jointly develop solutions and strategies, with an emphasis on the importance of collaborations and networks for social entrepreneurial success. Fittingly, the three organizers – the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt, UBS Deutschland AG, and Ashoka Deutschland gGmbH – can look back on a well-established and successful cooperation.
There were two parallel roundtable discussions featuring social entrepreneurs Heidrun Mayer (papilio e.V.) and Mascha Kauka (AMAZONICA Foundation) and moderated by Johann Angermaier of UBS Deutschland and Oda Heister of Ashoka Deutschland.
At the end, the findings and results of the interactive and creative discussions were presented to, and discussed with, all workshop participants.
