Jury
The five-member jury is composed of academic experts and practicians who know the challenges faced by the applicants very well. Their experiences and their knowledge of the Young Leaders network allow them to select the best initiatives.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner
Since 2001, Ann-Kristin Achleitner has held the KfW Chair in Entrepreneurial Finance at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she is also the scientific director of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies (CEFS).
In addition, Ann-Kristin Achleitner is a member of the FLÜGGE Expert Commission, Bavarian State Ministry of Sciences, Research and the Arts.
Ms. Achleitner participated in two Young Leaders Forum of the BMW Foundation.
Dr. Helga Breuninger
Helga Breuninger is chairwoman of the board of directors of the Breuninger Foundation as well as founder and managing partner of Helga Breuninger Consulting.
She has a PhD in psychology and a diploma in economics and her professional expertise is in learning disabilities and succession in family enterprises. She holds several honorary positions on the boards of non-profit organizations in the fields of culture and health. Helga Breuninger is also chairwoman of Bürgerstiftung Stuttgart.
Jürgen Chrobog
Jürgen Chrobog has served as a diplomat and State Secretary in the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1972 until 2005. Since July 1, 2005, Jürgen Chrobog has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt.
Jürgen Chrobog is regularly taking part in the BMW Foundation's Young Leader Forum.
Stefan Quandt
Stefan Quandt joined the supervisory board of BMW AG as well as the board of trustees of the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt in 1997. In addition, he serves on various boards of family-owned companies, including as chairman of the supervisory board of DELTON AG, Bad Homburg, and member of the board of directors of Datacard Corporation, Minneapolis. In the non-profit sector, Mr. Quandt is vice-chairman of the board of trustees of the Johanna Quandt Foundation, and a member of the supervisory board of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
Stefan Quandt participated in many of the BMW Foundation Young Leaders Forum.

Ole von Uexküll
Ole von Uexküll leads and coordinates the work of The Right Livelihood Award Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. As executive director of the Foundation, Ole von Uexküll’s main tasks are strategy development, research, representation, fundraising, and financial management. He is the nephew of the Foundation’s founder.
Ole von Uexküll participated in the 1st European Young Leaders Forum in Berlin in 2008.
