Transatlantic Forum
Every year since 1995, the Transatlantic Forum has brought together some 40 German, Canadian and American leaders from politics, business, academia, the media, and the third sector to discuss social and socio-political issues at a transatlantic level. The Forum aims to promote intercultural understanding and networking and to strengthen both the search for sustainable solutions and the sense of responsibility of leaders in a globalized world.

The 15th Transatlantic Forum focused on "Enhancing Social Cohesion in Urban Development: Breaking New Ground for Vibrant Communities." "Social Cohesion in the City: Diversity. Integration. Education."
In contrast to previous Young Leaders Forums, this year‘s forum took a very practical approach to the conference topic. The conference topic was addressed and examined not only through panel discussions, but also through field trips to local good practice organizations that worked towards improving social cohesion in Toronto.
